NPB Central League: Hiroshima Toyo Carp 3 – 1 Yomiuri Giants
Bobby Dalbec provided the only run for the Yomiuri Giants in their 3-1 loss to the Hiroshima Toyo Carp at Mazda Stadium. Batting cleanup, Dalbec launched a solo home run to right-center field in the top of the sixth inning, cutting Hiroshima’s lead to 2-1. It was his 25th home run of the season. Dalbec finished the game 1-for-4 with one home run, one RBI and one run scored.
