NPB Pacific League: Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles 5 – 3 Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks
Carson McCusker helped spark a comeback for the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in their 5-3 victory over the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks.
With the Eagles trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning, McCusker led off the inning by launching a solo home run to right-center field for his 22nd homer of the season.
His home run started a four-run rally that gave the Eagles a 4-3 lead by the end of the inning.
McCusker finished the game 1-for-3 with one home run, one RBI, one run scored and one walk.
