NPB Central League: Yokohama DeNA BayStars 2 – 1 Hanshin Tigers
Sean Reynolds closed out the Yokohama DeNA BayStars’ 2-1 comeback victory over the Hanshin Tigers at Yokohama Stadium. The BayStars took the lead in the bottom of the eighth inning on a two-run home run by Toshiro Miyazaki, and Reynolds came on to protect the one-run advantage in the ninth. The right-hander allowed one hit and one walk but struck out three batters to keep the Tigers off the scoreboard. Reynolds threw 22 pitches in a scoreless ninth inning to earn his 17th save of the season. His ERA improved to 1.33.
