Stepping into the box in the 4th frame, the American slugger turned on a pitch and drove it deep into the stands, solidifying his status as a premier power threat in NPB. Nevin enjoyed a productive day at the plate, finishing 2-for-4 with a home run, an RBI, and a run scored, raising his season batting average to .276. Cracking the 20-homer mark in his debut NPB campaign, Nevin continues to be a driving force in the heart of the Lions’ order.
