NPB Central League: Yokohama DeNA BayStars 4 vs 1 Tigers
Sean Reynolds was unstoppable once again for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars on September 6th, securing his 14th save of the season in back-to-back games against the Hanshin Tigers. Taking the mound in the bottom of the 9th inning, the towering closer worked around a hit and a hit-by-pitch, relying on his electric stuff to rack up two clutch strikeouts and keep the Tigers scoreless. Pitching 1.0 inning on 17 pitches, Reynolds lowered his incredible season ERA to a razor-sharp 1.33 while extending his stat line to 4-1 with 14 saves. Continuing to shut down opposing hitters in high-leverage situations, Reynolds remains an immovable force at the back of the BayStars’ bullpen.
