NPB Central League: Yokohama DeNA BayStars 3 vs 2 Tigers
Sean Reynolds slammed the door once again for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars on September 5th, pitching a flawless 9th inning to secure his 13th save of the season against the Hanshin Tigers. Taking the mound in the final frame, the imposing right-hander needed just 17 pitches to retire all three batters in order, picking up a strikeout along the way. With this dominant performance, Reynolds improved his season line to 4-1 with 13 saves while dropping his season ERA to an electric 1.35. Continuing to be a brick wall at the back end of the BayStars’ bullpen, Reynolds remains a lights-out anchor for Yokohama.
