NPB Central League: Yakult Swallows 5 vs 3 Tigers

Nash Walters came on in relief for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows in the bottom of the 9th inning against the Hanshin Tigers on September 2nd. The right-hander worked through a tough frame, throwing 19 pitches to face five batters. While he picked up a strikeout, he surrendered two hits—including a solo home run—and issued one walk, allowing a run. Walters managed to finish out the inning to leave his season ERA at 5.40 as he continues to work through relief assignments in the Swallows’ bullpen.
