Stepping up to the plate in the 3rd frame, the Lions’ power-hitting outfielder jumped all over a pitch, sending a towering rocket deep into the stands. Canario finished the game 1-for-4 with a home run, an RBI, and a run scored, while keeping his season batting average at a solid .245. Continuing to add to his home run total past the double-digit mark, Canario remains an essential power threat in Seibu’s middle of the order.
