Elehuris Montero put his premium power on full display on July 19th, launching a majestic solo rocket—his 7th home run of the season—in the bottom of the 2nd inning against the Tigers. Stepping into the box in an early-game situation, the Carp’s explosive powerhouse connected with absolute authority, sending a towering shot deep into the stands to strike first. Montero finished the night 1-for-2 with a run scored and a big RBI, anchoring the middle of the lineup with supreme confidence.
