Allan Winans delivered a masterful performance on June 7th, putting together a near-flawless 7.0 innings against the Dragons at Vantelin Dome. The Lions’ right-hander was in total control, surrendering only a single hit while silencing the Nagoya crowd. Winans threw 109 pitches of pure grit, racking up eight strikeouts to overpower the opposition and keep a clean sheet. Although he was forced to settle for a no-decision due to a lack of run support, his season ERA dropped to a stellar 2.74.
