NPB Inter League: Carp 2 vs 5 Fighters
Sandro Fabian announced his return in style on June 4th, launching a towering solo home run in the bottom of the 2nd inning against the Fighters. It was a pivotal moment for the Carp’s outfielder, marking his first home run since being called back up to the first-team roster. Facing a 150km/h fastball, Fabian showcased his signature raw power by driving the ball into the left-field stands to give Hiroshima an early 1-0 lead. Fabian finished the night 1-for-5, and while his average sits at .193, this 3rd home run of the season serves as a major confidence booster. The Carp will look for him to continue providing this much-needed long-ball threat throughout the Interleague schedule.
