NPB Inter League : Swallows 8 vs 7 Golden Eagles

Domingo Santana delivered the decisive blow on May 30th, blasting his 11th home run of the season to propel the Swallows to a thrilling 8-7 victory over the Golden Eagles. In a high-scoring Interleague slugfest, the star outfielder stepped up in the top of the 7th inning and crushed a clutch two-run homer over the fence. Santana finished the night 1-for-4 with a walk and two RBIs, making his lone hit of the game the biggest one of the night. Maintaining a solid .272 batting average, Santana reached the 11-homer milestone before June, proving once again that his elite power is a primary engine for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows offense when the game is on the line.
