Trey Cabbage wasted no time making his presence felt at ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO on May 30th, launching his 9th home run of the season in the top of the 2nd inning against the Fighters. The Giants’ powerful foreign slugger got a hold of one early in the ballgame, crushing a majestic solo blast to put Yomiuri on the board (or extend their lead). Cabbage finished the night 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. Despite racking up two strikeouts, he made his lone hit of the night a maximum-damage swing. Maintaining a strong .271 batting average, Cabbage is now just one home run away from the double-digit milestone, continuing to serve as a vital power source in the Giants lineup.
