Raidel Martínez slammed the door once again on May 17th, locking down his 13th save of the season to secure a Giants victory over the BayStars. Entering the 9th inning, Martínez displayed his signature dominance, keeping the opponent hitless while racking up two big strikeouts. Despite issuing a lone walk, the elite closer remained unfazed, working through the inning with poise to lower his stellar ERA to a microscopic 1.76. Now sitting at 1-1 with 13 saves, Martínez continues to be an absolute brick wall at the back end of the Giants’ bullpen.
