Alexander Canario provided a spark for the Lions on May 16th, launching his 2nd home run of the season against the Fighters. The powerful outfielder connected for a solo shot in the top of the 3rd inning to put his elite strength on display. Canario turned in a solid performance, finishing the day 1-for-3 with a well-earned walk and zero strikeouts. As his batting average settles at .252, Canario is showing better patience at the plate and finding his groove, making him a dangerous asset in the heart of the Lions’ batting order.
