In the bottom of the 4th, BayStars outfielder Cooper Hummel ignited a comeback by launching his first career NPB home run. With Yokohama trailing by four and having been kept hitless by Tokoda up to that point, Hummel broke the perfect game in style. He connected on a powerful swing, sending a solo blast just to the left of the center-field batter’s eye to get the BayStars on the board.
