NPB Central League: Carp 5 vs 6 BayStars
In the top of the 8th against the BayStars on April 12th, Sandro Fabian delivered a spark for the Carp. With two outs and Hiroshima trailing by two, Fabian turned on a 153 km/h inside fastball from reliever Sean Reynolds, who hadn’t allowed a run all season. Fabian’s powerful swing sent the ball deep into the left-field stands at Yokohama Stadium for his second home run of the year, snapping Reynolds’ scoreless streak and keeping the Carp in the fight.
