NPB Central League: Carp 5 vs 2 Tigers
Sandro Fabian delivered when his team needed it most on August 15th, launching a towering two-run home run—his 15th of the season—in the bottom of the 6th inning against the Hanshin Tigers. Leading by just a single run in the 6th frame, the Hiroshima Toyo Carp slugger jumped all over a first-pitch fastball, crushing a rocket deep over the left-field wall to extend the Carp’s cushion. Fabian finished the day 1-for-3 with two RBIs, a run scored, a walk, and zero strikeouts on his milestone 15th big fly of the year. By reaching the 15-home-run mark and keeping his season average at .230, Fabian continues to provide high-impact middle-of-the-order power for Hiroshima.
