Domingo Santana wasted no time putting the Swallows on the board on May 14th, crushing a leadoff solo home run in the top of the 1st inning against the Dragons. Santana was absolutely flawless at the plate, turning in a perfect 3-for-3 performance with three runs scored and a walk. His 9th blast of the season set an aggressive tone early on, putting his elite power on full display. With his batting average climbing to .258 and reaching base in every single plate appearance, Santana proved to be an unstoppable force in the lineup.
