Andres Machado was the definition of efficiency on May 12th, carving through the Eagles’ lineup to secure his 12th save of the season. Machado needed only 9 pitches to retire the side in order, punctuated by two dominant strikeouts. It was a “three up, three down” masterpiece that left no room for an Eagles comeback.
