NPB Pacific League: Orix Buffaloes
The Orix Buffaloes have officially reached an agreement with right-handed pitcher Sean Hjelle. Standing at 2.11 meters (6’11”), he is tied for the tallest player in Major League history.
Hjelle made his MLB debut with the San Francisco Giants in 2022. He had a breakout year in 2024, making a career-high 58 appearances as a reliever. Over his MLB career, he pitched in 93 games, recording 7 wins, 8 losses, and a 5.11 ERA.
