NPB Pacific League: Golden Eagles
The Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles announced that they will not be offering a contract to pitcher Miguel Yajure for next season.
Yajure, who tallied five wins with the Tokyo Yakult Swallows last season, joined the Eagles this year. However, his performance declined, as he finished the year with just two wins against six losses and an underwhelming 4.48 ERA over 14 appearances.
