The Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters announced the departure of pitcher Drew VerHagen.
VerHagen, who previously played for the team from 2020–2021, returned to Japan in 2024. However, he lacked consistency this season, recording a 3-3 record with a 6.08 ERA over six appearances.
