NPB Central League: Hanshin Tigers
NPB announced that Hanshin Tigers pitcher Grant Hartwig has been officially posted as a free agent.
Hartwig joined the Tigers mid-season and became a fixture in the bullpen, appearing in 16 games and recording a record of 2 wins, 0 losses, and a 3.65 ERA.
His final appearance came on September 27 against the Chunichi Dragons at Koshien Stadium, where he made an emergency exit after sustaining an injury to his left side/oblique. He returned to the United States in early October.
