NPB Pacific League: Buffaloes
Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) announced that outfielder Edward Olivares has been officially posted as a free agent.
Olivares, who made his Major League debut in 2020, was known for his combination of power and speed. He achieved career-high numbers in 2023, appearing in 107 games and hitting .263 with 12 home runs and 11 stolen bases.
Despite his track record of 29 career MLB home runs, Olivares did not find success after joining the Orix Buffaloes for the 2025 season.
