NPB Central League: Yakult Swallows
The Houston Astros have signed former Tokyo Yakult Swallows pitcher Peter Lambert to a minor league contract.
Lambert, a 2015 draft pick by the Colorado Rockies, has appeared in 74 career MLB games since making his debut in 2019.
The right-hander joined the Swallows for the 2025 NPB season, recorded 3 wins and 11 losses with a 4.26 ERA over 21 appearances. He returned to the United States on September 12 and was subsequently released as a free agent at the end of the season.
