Saitama Seibu Lions announced on June 23rd that they have signed Tyler Nevin to a two-year contract starting from the 2026 season.
Nevin established himself as the cleanup hitter from late April, won the Monthly MVP award in May, and has played in all 68 games so far. He’s maintained strong performance with a .269 batting average, 5 home runs, and 32 RBIs.
