Newcomer Edwin Escobar, a former DeNA BayStars pitcher who joined the Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club this year, pitched a three-up, three-down inning in his debut.
Escobar left the BayStars at the end of 2023 and played in the MLB Cubs’ minor league system and the Mexican League in 2024.
The Oisix Niigata Albirex Baseball Club is a team that belongs to the NPB farm league (minor league). As they do not have a first team, there are no promotions for players.
