Each NPB (Nippon Professional Baseball) team has the second team called “Farm.”
Some teams have the third teams. However, the most teams on NPB have the second one.
The firm teams are under the major teams of NPB.
The system is not the same as the MLB teams’s Minor leagues’s.
For example, major team players can use the farm games to adjust their condition. Last year, Trevor Bauer used the system. When he had too much time between his pitching day and the next work, he pitched on some firm games to keep his best condition.
The veteran baseball players having produced results, can use the farm system. Moreover, even young starter players also do the same thing. They go to thier major games after playing on the farm games on the same day.
